THE STORY BEHIND WOOFKES
It all started with Lola.
Seven years ago, I adopted Lola, and suddenly began seeing Brussels through different eyes. I became increasingly aware of the challenges dogs face in city life, and of how much more dog-friendly our city could be.
That led me to create the first enclosed dog area in the heart of Brussels, followed by a role as Animal Welfare Advisor to the First Alderman of the City of Brussels.
Woofkes is the natural next step in that journey: a place where dogs are not just welcome, but truly part of the experience.
A place to be pampered, eat, shop, meet, learn, celebrate, and simply enjoy city life together.
Created for Lola... and for the 10,000+ dogs who call Brussels home.
